Why do we speak about aesthetic image creation?
First of all we should define the term “aesthetics”…
Aesthetics (ancient Greek – αἰσθητικός meaning "sensitive, sentient", derived from αἴσθημα – meaning "I perceive, feel, sense") - the branch of philosophy that deals with the nature and expression of beauty in the fine arts and life, and with the art as a special form of public conscience.
According to A. Losev, aesthetics is an expressive means whatever sphere it concerns with. The main categories of aesthetics are: the beautiful and its opposition – ugliness, the sublime and foul, tragic and comic, etc.
Imagination draws pictures of the past and the future, records inner and outer changes, real and fabulous events, personal feelings, public processes. Aesthetic image is a model of the future life. It develops in time and space coming through the stages from rising to incarnation.
Like an ideal or a dream, aesthetic image may be fabulous, subtle and incomplete. If it is close to incarnation it has a high degree of exertion, emotionality and brightness.
The distinguishing features of the aesthetic image are vitality, integrity of mental processes, extensionality, concentrated supersensitivity, dynamism, completeness and ability to self-actualization.
While all the mentioned features are necessary for aesthetic image creation, self-actualization is an irreversible and self-regulated process. All the personal efforts to create an aesthetic image launch its independent incarnation.
There are plot, composition, dynamics, style and spatio-temporal framework in the aesthetic image. The most developed images may include knowledge concerned with images of the famous people, the plots of their lives, the events of different epochs, with customs and traditions that affect the choice of behaviour and lifestyle. The created images lose aesthetics if there appear negative emotions such as aggression, fear and criticism.
To realize the potential and improve the quality of private and professional life and to be a success, it is necessary to create an image of private life.
Aesthetic image is an optimum alternative of the future life designing as the aesthetic element harmonizes and synchronizes all the life processes.
This aspect cannot be considered without integration into the final image of fashion and style which are the outer manifestation of the inner.
As for fashion, it arose as an aesthetic form of arts. Being a certain inconceivable ideal, it was not available to everyone. Only higher society could afford fashionable dress and estimate its true worth and elegancy. They not only followed the fashion but defined it.
On understanding the philosophy of aesthetic form of personal image one lets oneself touch another substance, rise above others and reach the highest level of self-expression.
